How to Make England's Favorite
Mixed Grill Sausage at Home!Ingredients:
1-3/4 pints fresh Pig Blood
12 oz chopped Lard or Suet (beef fat)
1/2 pint whole Milk
2 oz Oatmeal
3 medium Onions, chopped
1 tablespoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Mixed Herbs
1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper
Preparation:Pre-heat oven to 300 degrees F.
Mix all of the ingredients together thoroughly, making sure that they are evenly distributed.
Next stuff the mixture into large natural sausage casings made from pig intestines.
Place into an ovenproof dish with a cover, sitting in a larger dish half filled with water.
Bake for 90 minutes.
Allow to cool.
Fry your Black Pudding with bacon, kidneys, and eggs as part of a traditional English Mixed Grill breakfast. Enjoy!
